Catering & Food Services Coordination

NOTE: NOLA Med Ed requires a two-week advance notice of any vegan attendees and known food allergies. If the MedTech company fails to notify us, it assumes responsibility for any attendee food-allergy complications that may occur during a training event.

NOLA Med Ed coordinates all food services during MedTech sales representative and surgeon training programs. As a 501(c)(3) private foundation, MedTech companies provide an all-inclusive, tax-deductible donation for training programs, eliminating HCP meal-reporting burdens.

By structuring support as an unrestricted educational sponsorship rather than direct meal provision, your organization may preserve full deductibility under IRC §162, rather than partial deductibility under IRC §274.

Concierge Dinner & Transportation

NOLA Med Ed is local to New Orleans, and we know where the locals eat. Let us know if you would like us to make dinner reservations for your group as well. We can recommend and coordinate individual and small party restaurant bookings.

Depending on the group size and your budget, we can also arrange for limo bus service to pick up and drop off your group.

NOLA Med Ed does not assume financial responsibility for attendee dinners. With numerous events and festivals in New Orleans, NOLA Med Ed would need four weeks' advance notice to coordinate large-group dinner bookings and transportation.

Hotel Reservations & Transportation

Due to the variability of attendees' flight schedules, all transportation from the airport to downtown hotels and back to MSY is the attendee’s responsibility.

The training facility is centrally located in downtown New Orleans. Ride-share services are widely available to and from downtown hotels and the medical research complex.
